活動状況
2024年4月1日より、トランスレーショナルリサーチ部長に就任いたしました。
呼吸器疾患の診断および病態解明に関する臨床研究・分子生物学的研究を基盤とし、基礎研究と臨床応用をつなぐトランスレーショナルリサーチ（橋渡し研究）を推進しています。特に、PPFE（胸膜肺実質線維弾性症）、リンパ脈管筋腫症、リンパ管異常を伴う肺疾患、肺胞蛋白症、肺骨化症、アミロイドーシスなどの希少かつ難治性肺疾患を研究対象としています。
呼吸器疾患の診断および病態解明に関する臨床研究・分子生物学的研究を基盤とし、基礎研究と臨床応用をつなぐトランスレーショナルリサーチ（橋渡し研究）を推進しています。特に、PPFE（胸膜肺実質線維弾性症）、リンパ脈管筋腫症、リンパ管異常を伴う肺疾患、肺胞蛋白症、肺骨化症、アミロイドーシスなどの希少かつ難治性肺疾患を研究対象としています。

Research Focus
Investigation of rare pulmonary diseases, including pleuroparenchymal fibroelastosis (PPFE), lymphangioleiomyomatosis, pulmonary diseases associated with lymphangitic abnormalities, pulmonary alveolar proteinosis, pulmonary ossification, and amyloidosis:
▪Unraveling the pathophysiological mechanisms of idiopathic PPFE, with a focus on architectural distortion, dysphagia-related complications, thoracic kinematics, and respiratory physiology.
▪Exploring the pathophysiology of pulmonary diseases associated with lymphangitic abnormalities, such as lymphangiomatosis and yellow nail syndrome.
